3. Nong Nooch Tropical Garden
Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden is a 500-acre (2.0 km2) botanical garden and tourist attraction at kilometer 163 on Sukhumvit Road in Chonburi Province, Thailand. In 1954, Mrs. Nongnooch Tansacha and Mr. Pisit bought a piece of land 240 hectares in size where they planned to grow fruit trees and vegetables. However, the owners instead decided to plant tropical flowers and plants as a wildlife conservation project.
It is one of the largest botanic gardens in the world. Apart from that it has the biggest private collection of plants in the world. Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden is a marvelous place for a relaxing day.
