The Grand Velas Los Cabos resort in Mexico has created the most decadent taco on the planet – which will set you back a cool US$25,000 if you want to eat it. The world’s most expensive taco features Kobe beef, caviar, and truffle cheese, wrapped inside a gold-infused tortilla. It’s topped off with an artfully crafted salsa made from dried Morita chili peppers, ultra-premium anejo tequila, and civet coffee (said to be the most expensive in the world). The coffee is created from the semi-digested coffee cherries found in the excrement of civets. The high-end taco and tequila experience was created by Grand Velas Los Cabos’s former executive chef, Juan Licerio Alcala, who originates from Durango, Mexico.

The Fortress Resort and Spa in Galle, Sri Lanka, claims to sell the world’s most expensive dessert. The Indulgence features a stilt fisherman handmade from chocolate. The base is an Italian cassata flavored with Baileys Irish Cream and served with a mango and pomegranate compote and a Champagne sabayon sauce adorned with gold leaf. The finishing touch is an 80-carat aquamarine stone sitting on the fisherman’s chocolate stilt. This precious 80-carat aquamarine stone would surprise the person while receiving it together with the dessert as a special gift. This stone has a unique ability that helps with soothing, healing, and also calming. It has a sea blue color that reflects the ocean and also shows the essence of water that is life-giving.

Renato Viola is also a member of the Italian Acrobatic Pizza Team and is one of the most renowned pizza makers across the globe. They have won several prizes in pizza-making competitions around Italy and Europe. Louis XIII doesn’t just come in any old pizza box. Instead, it’s served with special dishes and cutlery provided by Viola’s team. Three special varieties of caviar – Oscietra Royal Prestige, Kaspia Oscietra Royal Classic from the Iranian coast, and Kaspia Beluga – Norwegian lobster – and seven types of cheese are among the toppings.

Beluga caviar is caviar consisting of the roe (or eggs) of the beluga sturgeon Huso huso. The fish is found primarily in the Caspian Sea, which is bordered by Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkmenistan. It can also be found in the Black Sea basin and occasionally in the Adriatic Sea. Beluga caviar is the most expensive type of caviar with market prices, ranging from $7,000 to $22,000/kg.
