19. Lewis Carroll
Lewis Carroll was an English author, poet, and mathematician. His most famous novel is “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”.

He also devised a number of games, including an early version of what today is known as ‘Scrabble’. He created the word ladder puzzle which was published in the weekly column of ‘Vanity Fair’ magazine.
Lewis Carroll’s last words were “Take Away Those Pillows. I Shall Need Them No More”.
