Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter known for her many portraits, self-portraits, and works inspired by the nature. Her paintings often had strong autobiographical elements and mixed realism with fantasy.

She has made famous paintings like ‘Memory, the Heart’, ‘What the Water Gave Me’, ‘The Two Fridas’, and ‘Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird’. She was honored with the ‘National Prize of Arts and Sciences’.
Frida Kahlo’s last words were “I hope the exit is joyful and I hope never to come back”.
